Automatically Erasing History in Internet Explorer
1. Click "Tools" menu
2. Choose "Options"
3. Under "General" Tab,Type 0 for "Days to keep pages in history"
4.Click "OK"

3. Click the "Privacy" Tab
4. Under the History heading, Never Remember History.
At the moment, Chrome doesn't have an auto-erase feature. However, there are tons of add-ons for Chrome that will allow you to clear your history on exit.
