Does Windows 7 Suck?

Do I really need to upgrade my PC. I bought Vista ready computer a year ago. Everyone said Vista was great and the next leap. Now everyone says its garbage. So, I wanted to know if Windows 7 the same.

Personally, I loathe Windows 7. I like to play games, like Water Bugs, and that and many old games won't play, no matter what I do, despite the sellers saying the particular game does work for Windows 7.

In terms of system resources it eats up far less then Vista. Also start-up and shutdown time is 20% faster
