zml.com
I registered for the 99cent 24 hour membership. The site does look fairly reasonable, but one red flag is that the FAQ is very sparse and does not really quote any prices. I did a quick search for "zml reviews" and found a couple that suggested it was okay, so I went ahead. I downloaded one movie, which downloaded pretty quickly (about 45 min for a nearly 1 gig file). The image quality was so-so, thus I decided to cancel. When I logged on, I saw that I had actually been charge $39.90 within 16 hours of starting my "99cent trial" membership. Fortunately, my credit card company had put my credit card on hold (because of my family buying several holiday Christmas gifts) and the ZML.com charge (which was listed on my credit card as "helpgroup.sundvds.com") was denied. The charge may still go through, and I'm not sure if this whole thing is fully resolved, but in the future I will be more careful--I only found out about the zml scam when I did a search for "zml scam". I suppose the zml.com site does deliver a service (I could download the movie after all), but it is "too good to be true" given the low charges (Amazon.com charges about 2-5 times the price for a download).
