How to block ports?
You will be able to block ports by altering your TCP/IP settings. Here is how to acces these settings:
- Click Start
- Open the Control Panel
- Click Network and Internet
- Choose Windows Firewall
- Select Inbound Rules
- Under the Action column on the right hand side, choose new rule.
- Select Port and then click Next
- Check TC/ IP and Specific port, then type the port number you want.
- Select Block the connection and then Click Next
- Check all the rules to keep it closed.
- Name the rule and click Finish.
